Australia’s largest karting club is proud to present the IKC School Holiday Cadet & Junior Driver Development Program, hosted by Jess Golding Motorsport at Ipswich Kart Club on Wednesday 18 January.
Hosted by former Australian Karting Champion, and Karting Australia accredited Driver instructor Jess Golding, the day will include a track walk, flags workshop, on-track driving sessions with feedback and instruction, and a workbook for each driver to take notes and hone their skills. A BBQ lunch will be provided by the club.
Suitable for all cadet and junior drivers that hold a Karting Australia practice or racing licence. Drivers will be divided into groups of similar skill levels within their respective classes.
Classes encouraged to attend the day include Cadet 9P, Cadet 12P, Cadet 9, Cadet 12, Cadet 4SS, 4SS Juniors and KA3 Juniors.
Bookings are essential. The total number of participants will be limited to 12 drivers.
Tickets are $125 per driver. The price includes your practice ticket, a full day of coaching, and lunch. For those wishing to continue honing their skills, general practice will be available from 3.30 pm – 9 pm. Drivers will need to purchase a practice ticket if they want to attend the general practice session.
Gates will open at 08:30 am and we ask all drivers and guardians to meet us on the grid at 09:30 am for a quick rundown of the day and a track walk before we get started.
